In our 2022 - 2023 year, we again we received the Alumnae Panhellenic (APH) Citation of Merit and Programming Excellence Award. These were awarded for timely and thorough reporting to National, successfully publicizing all our activities, and philanthropic involvement, as well as our scholarship promotion, including money raised from our Benefit.

The 2021 - 2022 Programming Excellence Award was given to CVAP for recognition that the Chapter went above and beyond to enhance the Panhellenic spirit. This was accomplished by hosting events outside the meetings and by developing members through speakers, activities, and philanthropies. CVAP also received the 2021 - 2022 Citation of Merit Award for supporting College Panhellenics with both scholarships and with CVAP's recruitment efforts.

In August 2016, CVAP received the APH Programming Excellence Award based on the various groups we served: Books for Children, Toys for Tots~Marines 29 Palms, 20 Scholarships to the 10 local high schools, and our monthly educational programs.

Palm Springs Life magazine recognized CVAP as one of the top charitable organizations in the desert, and our “Diamonds are Forever” Benefit and Diamond Award ceremony were featured on KPSP TV Local Channel 2, “Eye on the Desert”, Nightly News broadcasts, and the Desert Sun newspaper.

NPC recognized CVAP with a Programming Excellence Award for 2015 - 2016 and 2016 - 2017.

Each year, as we promote our fundraising events, we are featured on Eye on the Desert with Patrick Evans and we are often found proudly telling our success stories in the Desert Sun's Desert Scene.
